Common questions
The click stops when I lock the screen.
It should not. Check that iOS has not put the app in Low Power Mode’s way, and that
Silent mode inside the app’s Settings sheet is off — that mode deliberately mutes
the sound and leaves only haptics and the screen flash.
It interrupts my music instead of playing over it.
The app mixes with other audio by default. If another app has taken exclusive control of
the audio session, start your music first and then the metronome.
Where are my presets and songs kept?
On your device, as JSON files inside the app’s own storage. Deleting the app deletes
them; they are included in an encrypted iPhone backup.
Does 6/8 count in eighths or dotted quarters?
Your choice — the tempo unit is a separate setting from the meter, so you can read BPM
off whichever pulse your score does.
Privacy
