Common questions

• The app hears nothing. Microphone access is asked for on first launch. If it was declined, turn it back on in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Skadis Pitch (on Mac: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone).
• The line jumps an octave. Pick a narrower Range preset that matches the source, and keep the input level healthy — very quiet signals are ambiguous by nature.
• Where are my recordings? Inside the app's own folder on the device. The app keeps the five most recent takes and deletes older ones. Recording to disk can be switched off in Settings.
• Tuning is not A440. Settings has a reference from 415 to 466 Hz.
